Atlanta, GA. – July 2, 2009 – Anodyne Health, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions for the healthcare industry, announced that its business intelligence (BI) solutions will be implemented at The Heart Group, serving patients in the Tri-State region with offices in Indiana and Kentucky. The Heart Group was looking for a solution that would give them the ability to standardize their data analysis capabilities.
The Heart Group has been serving its communities since 1972. With 22 physicians, The Heart Group is the largest cardiovascular practice in the Tri-State region. “Our group has had some significant practice changes over the past year,” stated Thomas Yates, CFO/Controller of The Heart Group. “We have increased our physician complement (Cardiology and EP), while shedding outlying groups and PCP’s. We have also reduced our number of main practice locations. Additionally, our administrative staff has been reduced significantly and we needed an automated option for reporting productivity. It has also been difficult for us to explain to our physicians why their compensation is median or less, and their work RVUs are 75% higher. All of our productivity data was manually (excel) calculated, and frequently errors were found. This led the physicians to mistrust the data they were provided. We believe that Anodyne’s BI solutions will help us automate our reporting and produce relevant revenue cycle data that we can trust.”
